Job Descriptions

$30,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL-TIME POSITIONS. We are seeking full or part-time positions, as well as contract dentists. Join our dynamic team of professionals and be part of a public health dental clinic that truly transforms people’s lives. 

 

Responsibilities include: providing immediate treatment of dental emergencies, examining, diagnosing and developing a plan of treatment for patients, providing local anesthesia as necessary prior to dental treatment, performing prophylaxis, scaling, sub-gingival curettage, root planning and oral hygiene instruction, prescribing medication as necessary, recording patient-dentist transactions in dental records; completing referrals, data collection and other records as may be required. The dentist is responsible for providing patients with quality dental care procedures. May treat diseases of nerve, pulp, and other dental tissues affecting oral hygiene and retention of teeth. May fit dental appliances or provide preventive care. 

 

Our dental services include exams, digital x-rays, prophy, sealants, fillings, extractions, dental emergencies, partials, root canals, crowns, bridges and dentures. We are seeking full or part-time Dental Hygienists! Join our FUN team of professionals and be part of a public health dental clinic that truly transforms people’s lives.  Responsibilities include: applying local anesthetics under the Dentist’s supervision, clean and polish teeth, treat gum disease and apply sealants and coatings to improve the dental health of patients.

 

Must be able to maintain a sterile environment, maintain dental equipment and review and update patient records. Must also be able to educate and advise patients on proper ways to care for their teeth and encourage them to follow treatments correctly.

We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant. This rewarding position allows for personal and professional growth in a fun working environment.

 

Responsibilities include: set up and breakdown operatory post treatment, assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, take dental radiographs (x-rays), manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, provide patients with instructions for oral care following procedures, educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health and perform various office tasks as necessary.

Loan Forgiveness Program

The State of North Dakota has established a loan repayment program for dentists who shall provide dental services in the cities or surrounding areas, or both, which the State Health Council identifies as having a defined need for dental services.
